Casey Lee Hood 2017 Most Worshipful Grand Master Grand Lodge Free And Accepted Masons Of Tennessee

Casey L. Hood was born on October 31, 1970, in Union City, TN. He is the son of Richard L. Hood and Betty A. Hood of Obion, TN. He graduated from Obion County Central High School in 1988 and attended the University of Tennessee at Martin from 1988-1990. In 1990, he became managing partner and co-owner of Hood Plumbing Co. LLC., a family business established in 1969. He is the sole proprietor of M.R. 2 Ducks Guide Service which he established in 1994. He is also a member of the First Baptist Church in Obion. He married Andrea Noelle Davidson of Byrdstown, TN, on July 17th 1993, and they have 2 daughters, Halie L. Hood and Lindy P. Hood. Brother Casey was raised as a Master Mason in Western Sun Lodge #88 in Troy, TN, on June 29, 2009, served as Worshipful Master in 2011 and was elected in 2012 as Secretary where he is still serving. In 2014, he affiliated and has Plural membership with Richland Lodge #748 in Rosemark, TN. His Blue Lodge accomplishments include the following: First Recipient of the TN. Grand Lodge Masonic Light Award, Special Projects Coordinator to the Widow and Orphan’s Home Board of Control (2010-2011), District 3 Chairman (2012-2014) , Director of the Tennessee Child Identification Program (2014-2016), and Recipient of the 2014 Tennessee Grand Lodge John B. Arp Award. He was Exalted as a Royal Arch Mason in Union City Chapter #132, where he served as Excellent High Priest in 2011 and received the Order of the High Priesthood that same year. He served as Grand Sentinel for the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons in 2014. Greeted in Union City Council #122, where he served as Illustrious Master in 2011 and received the Order of the Silver Trowel that same year. He served the Grand Council of Cryptic Masons as Illustrious Grand Sentinel in 2012. He was Knighted in Union City Commandery #29 where he served as Commander in 2011 and received the Knight Crusader of the Cross that same year. He is currently serving the Grand Commandery as Chairman of the By-Laws and Dispensation committee and is a member of the Policy and Procedures Committee. In 2011, he was awarded the Membership Achievement Medal from the Grand Encampment of Knights Templar. In 2012, he received the Knight of York Cross of Honor and became a member of Tennessee Priory #15. He is a 32 KCCH Scottish Rite Mason, Valley of Memphis, and is currently serving as 1st Lieutenant Commander of Memphis Council of Kadosh. He is also the Stage Director as well as being the Building Maintenance Chairman. Other Masonic affiliations include: West Tennessee York Rite Association (2012 President), Al Chymia Shrine Temple, Tralee Council #41 Knight Masons serving as Very Excellent Grand Superintendent of the West for the Grand Council of Knight Masons USA, Senior Warden of Emerald Isle Council # 346 Allied Masonic Degrees, Deputy Governor of West Tennessee York Rite College #141, Right Worshipful Master of the West Tennessee Past Masters Association, The Worshipful Society of Free Masons, Societas Rosicruciana In Civitatibus Foederatis, Troy Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, West Tennessee Forest #213 Tall Cedars of Lebanon, and Cornelius Chapel 22 St. Thomas of Acon. Brother Casey L Hood was elected as the Right Worshipful Deputy Grand Master on March 24, 2016, and on March 23, 2017, he was afforded by the membership of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of Tennessee the distinct honor and privilege of being elected as the Most Worshipful Grand Master.
