Delbert R. "Del" Musick, was born to Charles Franklin and Ora Dell (Anderson) Musick, on April 14, 1941 in Burkburnett, Texas. He was educated in the public school system of Dodson, Texas, Camargo, Oklahoma and Wichita Falls, Texas. He was employed as an over the road driver for Roadway Express, Inc. from 1968 until his retirement in 2006.
Brother Musick was married to Lola Ruth Bennett on October 14, 1961, until her passing in June 2000. To that marriage was born Leslie Dell Musick and Melynda Gaye Musick Duncan (Mark). He has one granddaughter, Lauren Ashley Stephens.
On July 11, 2010, he married Wilda Ann (Witt) Anderson in Temple, Oklahoma. Their extended family includes Wilda's sons Richard (Beverly) Trey and Lauren, and Bob (Vickie) Lindsey, Ashley and Chance.
Del and Wilda are members of Second Presbyterian Church.
He is a member of Oakville Lodge # 599, currently serving as Treasurer. He was raised a Master Mason in Whitehaven Lodge # 599 on January 8, 1980. He transferred to McLemore Avenue Lodge # 715, serving as Worshipful Master in 1985. In 1995 McLemore Avenue and Oakville consolidated. He received the Scottish Rite degrees in 1980. In 1995, he was accorded the rank and decoration of Knight Commander Court of Honor, and in 2001 was coroneted an Inspector General Honorary of the 33°. He is presently serving as Venerable Master, Memphis Lodge of Perfection. He was exalted in Penn Council # 22, Greeted in Eureka Chapter # 6 and Knighted in St. Elmo Commandery # 4, in 1980.

Brother Musick served as District 1 Chairman for 3 years, and served as Grand Lecturer for District 1. In 2006, he was appointed Grand Pursuivant for the Grand Lodge F&AM of Tennessee. He has served on the Board of Custodians, Ways and Means Committee, and Dispensations and By-Laws committee.
